NEW - Lil Butterfly Doily

lilbutterflypictyes.jpg

This pattern is my original design for “Sweet Little Butterfly” Doily in filet crochet.  When making it using size #10 thread and a size #7 hook, it should measure 6.4” wide X 7.0” tall when finished.

Using my chart below and starting at the bottom right corner of the pattern, chain 57.  Chain an additional 3 which will count as the first double crochet for the first row.  Double crochet in the 5th chain from the hook.  Double crochet in the next 2 chains which will complete the bottom right solid square of the pattern.  Continue following pattern for the first row reading pattern right to left.  After completing the first row, chain 3 to turn to start the next row.  Continue following the pattern until all the rows are complete.  At the end of row 28, fasten off.
