Cell Phone Cases

The top right holder has a tapered flap that inserts into the holder.

The other two have button closures.  You can make a loop on the

backside then slip onto a belt, if you wish.  When I used Velcro

for the flap, it kept pulling off.  Also, I had better luck using

cotton yarn - - it did not stretch and pull so much as the acrylic.

Materials:  W. Wt. Cotton yarn, size H hook; 1 button for button

closure

Chain 11.

Rnd 1:  Sc in the 2nd chain from hook and in the next 8 chains across

to the last chain.  Work 3 sc in the last chain (12).  Continue working

sc in each free loop of the foundation chain on the opposite side,

2 sc in the last dc.  Do not join rounds, use a stitch marker if needed.

(22).

Rnds 2-5:  Sc in each sc around.  At end of rnd 5, chain 3, turn.  (22)

Rnd 6:  Dc in the sc stitch directly behind this first ch-3 [1st X-St

made].  *Skip 1 sc, dc in the next sc, dc in skipped stitch.  Repeat

from * around, join to the top of the beginning ch-3.  (It is important

that you have a total of 11 X-Sts at end of the rnd).

Rnds 7-9: Ch 1, sc in same stitch, sc in each stitch around, join

in the last sc.  (22)

Rnd 10:  Repeat Rnd 6.

Rnds 11-13:  Repeat rounds 7-9.

Rnds 14:  Repeat round 6.

Rnds 15-17:  Repeat rounds 7-9, join with sl st.  (22)
