Lavender Bloom CD Hot Mat

Materials: Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn in two colors: MC and CC, Size H hook, CD

Make 2

RND 1: With Main Color chain 4, make 10 dc in ring, join with sl st.

RND 2: Chain 3, dc in the same stitch, 2 dc in each dc around, join.

RND 3: Chain 3, dc in same dc, dc in the next dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc) around, join.

RND 4: Chain 3, dc in same dc, dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc) around, join.

RND 5: Chain 3, dc in same dc, dc in next 3 dc, (2 dc in next dc, dc in next 3 dc) around. Join and end off.

Make 2^nd piece the same as first.

RND 6: With wrong sides together, join CC with a sl st to any dc, ch 1, sc in the same dc. Slip the CD in between the 2 pieces, ch 4, sk 2 dc, sc in next dc. (Ch 4, sk 2 dc, sc in next dc) around. Join with sl st in the beginning sc.

RND 7: Sl st into next ch-4 sp. In the same space make *( ch 1, sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc). Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to the beginning Sc.

RND 8: Sl st into next sc and next hdc. In next dc make ch 1, * (sc, hdc, dc, hdc, sc). ch 2, (sk next hdc and sc, sc in the next space between scs), ch 2. Repeat from * around. Join to the beginning sc. End off and weave in ends.
